Hi! I am Paws, the world renowned cat adventuress, who is seeking the Allness of the All.
I am the world's most beautiful cat. I have perfectly marked gray and white fur and lustrous golden eyes. I am the opposite of Betty, my human companion, who looks like a dork and is also overweight. I, on the other hand, have a mature yet beguiling figure.
I am multi-talented which gave rise to my prominence. Once I led the Vancouver Cat Party to a near victory in a civic election. I also took a much heralded part in the Vancouver Marathon. I have many accomplishments, both intellectuall and spiritual. I finished my post-graduate studies at the Institute for Higher Cats Studies in Heidelberg, Germany. There I completed my 200 page thesis, Why I am so adorable. It was an incredible task considering my indescribable beauty and talent. It was something that even the most gifted cat would not have the temerity to attempt.
Betty has attempted to capture my essence in her book Paws: the Spiritual Journal of a Downtown Eastside Cats. She is not the best writer in the world, but who could possibly capture the irrepressible me in mere words? Sandra Walton has painted some delightful illustrations for this book and Patrick O'Leary has captured my irresistable glamour in his photographs. Betty says she is not interested in selling many books. She just wants a venue to express herself. But think what she could do with the money!
